Windproof Your Cap
(A Product Review by Linda Berry)

Whenever I get an email from a company or individual requesting the desire to advertise on ebassfish.com, I like to make sure that it is a product I would stand behind.  About a month ago, Mari Baskins with Para Designers, Inc.  sent me some information regarding a new product called Capsurz. I had no idea what it was until I clicked on the website at www.capsurz.com . My immediate reaction was:  “How clever and how simple and how useful! “

A Capsurz consists of 2 clips, braided cord, sliding beads and a decorative charm. I have already nicknamed  it a “charm band” for a cap. Its purpose is to hold a sport cap in place so that the wind will not blow it off your head. Although it will work for many applications, I saw immediately that a Capsurz would be a great product for anglers who fish out of a boat. I am forever taking my cap off and usually sitting on it when I am driving my bass boat up and down the lake going to my next fishing spot. I thought that if this product lives up to its claim of keeping a cap on your head at up to 60 mph, I would be impressed. I was also  curious as to how hard a Capsurz is to attach to the cap….so, I asked Mari to send me a couple of samples – one for myself and one for my sister Denese – to test at our next tournament in Georgia. Since they are available in different designs, I specifically requested the breast cancer ribbon logo on the samples. Mari was kind enough to honor my request and they were in my mail box within the week.

Denese and I put our Capsurz to the test on Clarks Hill Lake in Georgia and found that it is everything it says it is…easy to attach to your cap, easy to slide the beads to use the chin strap, easy to re-slide the beads and use it as a decorative hat band and we did not have to take our caps off at any time during our boat rides to keep them from blowing into the lake. The Capsurz  looks good, is easy to use and it really works! Check out the website www.capsurz.com  and learn how to windproof your cap!
