WBT Championship Day Two Weigh-In

Keri Schieber Wins WBT Co-Angler Championship

Keri Schieber of Cumming, Georgia is the first ever Co-Angler Classic Champion of the Women's Bassmaster Tour. With a winning weight of 12 lbs 11 oz she managed to beat the Day One leader Angie Everitt of Livingston, Texas by 4lbs 5 oz. Keri's husband and her twin sister Teri Neal were there to share in her victory.

Angie Everitt placed second with a 2 day total weight of 8 lbs 6 oz and Mary Croft of Bedford, Virginia placed third with 8 lbs 1 oz. Mary had finished the 2006 WBT season in 2nd place over-all. 4th Place went to Sharon Rushton of Kimberling City, Missouri, who won the Preview WBT event in October, 2005 on Lake Lewisville. Her two day total was 7 lbs.

The order of finish for the remaining 8 co-anglers is as follows: Colleen McKay - 6 lbs 11 oz, Lila Bass - 6 lbs 9 oz, Kim Stapp - 6 lb, Karen Williams -2 lbs 9 oz, Bonnie Ward - 2 lbs 8 oz, Heather Sullivan - 1 lbs 14 oz, Summer Stephens - 1 lbs 7 oz, Tammie Ply - 12 oz.

 Champion will be decided at Saturday weigh-in on ESPN Stage

Pam Martin-Wells is leading the pro-anglers on Day Two with a total weight of 22 lbs 15 oz, followed by Sheri Glasgow and Tammy Muse who are tied for 2nd place with 18 lbs 7 oz.

Tammy Richardson is is 4th Place with 18 lbs 6 oz followed by Dianna Clark - 17 lbs 5 oz, Juanita Robinson - 15 obs 13 oz, Linda Sands - 15 lbs 7 oz, Cindy Hill - 14 lbs 14 oz, Emily Shaffer - 8 lbs 1 oz, Robin Babb - 6 lbs 11 oz, Lisa Sternard - 5 lbs 2 oz, and Lucy Mize - 1 lb 14 oz.

Kathy Crowder of Sherwood, Ark., is the first woman to win the co-angler division in a BASS series other than the Women’s BassmasterTour. Kathy won the co-angler division of the BASS Central Open on Lake Texoma November 1st with a three-day total of 20 pounds, 10 ounces. Kathy, who won Purolator Big Bass premiums Thursday and Friday, took home the trophy and a $32,000 Triton/Mercury rig.
