forums scheduled in conjunction
with each 2007 WBT event.
Objective:
To open communications
between WBT anglers, educate and promote understanding of
tournament rules, fishing courtesy
and ethics.
Forum
Guidelines:
A moderator and new panel of 3 pro-anglers and 3 co-anglers will
serve at each of the 5 forums. Forums will begin with
a main topic, to be discussed for 30 minutes followed by an open
floor Q&A session. It is the moderator’s job to keep the
discussions on-track. This is not a “venting” session and the
moderator has the right to intervene if necessary.
This forum is not mandatory, nor sanctioned by BASS,
rather an independent gathering initiated by two anglers, (Linda
Berry and Denese Freeman) concerned with fairness and the future
of women’s pro fishing. Discussions will be documented and sent
to Bruce Mathis and Deborah Wilkinson for review and
consideration as feedback for future WBT seminar ideas, etc. If
we need BASS support, they will try to make it happen.
The following
anglers have been asked to serve as panel members at the Golden Rule
Forum in Del Rio. If any one of them is not available to sit on the
panel, another qualified angler will be selected.
