Denese Freeman
of Lawton, Oklahoma has joined the Lawton Floatilla of
the U. S. Coast Guard Auxillary.
The U.S. Coast Guard
Auxiliary is the uniformed volunteer component of the
United States Coast Guard.
It's members conduct safety
patrols on local waterways, assist the Coast Guard with
homeland security duties, teach boating safety classes,
conduct free vessel safety checks for the public, as
well as many other activities.

Linda Berry
will be in Greenville, SC January 7-11 helping out at
the FishHer Booth during the 37th Annual Henry's Dealer
Show presented by Big Rock Sports. This is Linda's
second year to attend the show.

and
Linda
Berry
of
Madison,
NC
recently
raised
over
$600
in
donations
from
local
businesses
for
a
club
project.
Their
bass
club
Triad
Bassmasters
partnered
with
United
Hearts
and
Hands
to
provided
Christmas
dinner
on
December
14th
in
High
Point,
NC
to
more
than
80
disabled
veterans
in
area
shelters.
Wendy
and
Linda
also
prepared
much
of
the
food
themselves.
After
expenses,
Triad
Bassmasters
was
able
to
present
a
check
in
the
amount
of
$170
to
United
Hearts
and
Hands
who
help
these
veterans
year-round.
Other
club
members
were
on
hand
to
help
serve
and
clean
up.
Triad
Bassmasters
hopes
to
make
this
a
yearly
project.
